I have had the pleasure and honor of volunteering at the Joy of Music school for the past 7.5 years. The school has come a long way since i started volunteering there in 2003. Such a long way in fact that it will be on primetime tonite on ABC's debut of the Secret Millionaire!
I can't begin to tell you all how exciting it is that this is happening. The JoMS has been providing free music lessons for disadvantaged kids for over 10 years now and it is truly remarkable what a difference it makes in the lives of kids AND the volunteers who teach there. To be featured on a major network's debut show is nothing short of amazing, awesome and just downright cool.
